Illustrative budget starting point
£3,000
Planning estimate only, based on illustrative complexity multipliers rather than a scoped quotation. Final cost and inclusions will be confirmed after discovery.
Our published consultancy rate is £125 an hour, or £850 for a full day. That covers strategy, implementation guidance, troubleshooting and technical advice.
Where the work is a defined implementation, we quote a fixed price instead, so you know the project cost before it starts. StackFix audits start from £495.
A single, clearly defined workflow starts from £1,500. A build that crosses several systems, teams or approval steps costs more, because the discovery, connections and testing are larger.
The budget estimator on this page is a planning figure from those starting points. The quotation comes after we have seen how the work actually moves.
A StackOS build starts from £7,500. That is the entry point for a defined first system, not a blank cheque for every module a business might want later.
Hosting, model usage and third-party licences are quoted separately unless they are written into the scope. Ongoing care, if you want it, starts from £249 a month with StackOps.
It can, when several overlapping tools and licences are replaced by one system. It does not automatically cost less for every business.
We compare what you pay now with the build and the ongoing cost over three years. The break-even depends on your current stack. We will say when a replacement would not pay for itself.
For a bespoke StackOS build, who owns the application we write, and where it is hosted, is agreed in the statement of work before the build starts.
Third-party products, model access and hosting accounts stay on their own licences. Your operational data is not held inside a subscription you cannot leave.
A finished build still needs somewhere to run, and AI steps consume usage. Security updates and broken connections need an owner.
That can sit with your team, or with StackOps from £249 a month for monitoring, maintenance, optimisation and reporting. Hosting and usage are included only when the scope says so.
